You recognized these logos...by the way they look...facebook, twtitter, google, they all are quite famous...
Leave them.. McDonald's, Dominos, KFC, Monginis, Subway, Amazon, Flipkart, the market leaders, DOMINATING the food industry, the ecommerce space are all recognizable because they have worked on their branding.
Right...?
Similarly now that you have your own clinic ..
How many people out there know that this is your clinic just by looking at your logo?
...NONE
So how are you going to work on that...?
1. Develop a good logo.
Before you even go to logo, your name should stand out first. Naming is a big thing. You put a name wrong, people wont understand what your business is all about.
When i wanted to start this blog, i was confused to what kind of name i wanted. I had a lot of naming ideas, but my website name was already taken. Hence, i decided to start the blog on my own name.
I want to be my personal brand.
So coming back to logo.
A good logo helps you to stand out from your competition. Now how a logo should be?
There's no EXACT guide on how a logo should be.
- There are some logos entirely based on text (typography)
- Some logos are based on text and icons. (combination of both)
If you see my logo on this site. It's a combination of icon and text. Amazon, flipkart and every other brand out there is a combination of both text and icons
Well that doesn't mean text logos are bad. They're good too.
Many brand's like DENIM use text logo. Then there's Pepe Jeans london, SPYKAR. Brand like SONY, use just text as their logo, even canon, nikon

2. Establish your brand on social media.
Who is your ideal target?
What magazines do they read?
What conferences do your patients attend?
I'll like to give you an example here.
Assuming I'm starting my own pizza company.
So i got to target someone who really likes pizza right?
So whenever i think about pizza..what comes to my mind first?
Children, youngsters, around 5-30 or may be 40 years of age.. both males and females love it right?
They may be school or college going students or may be someone who is working and someone who follows DOMINO'S pizza, pizza hut, mojo's pizza.
So i'll start researching, people who like domino's pizza...
- What places do they visit?
- What are their hobbies
- What magazines/papers do they read?
- Whom do they follow?
- What is their profession?
- Where do they live in?
I'll gather every single bit of this information and start targeting my customers...RIGHT?
Now coming back to dentistry...
- Who is your ideal patient?
- Where do they visit?
- What problems are they facing?
- Whom do they follow?
- Any COMPETITOR they are following?
- What is their age group?
- Is your patient a male or female?
- What products do they use?
You get the IDEA right..?

3. Start your own website
In today's world is website really needed?
The answer is YES....1000%
Why?
For a lot of reasons...
- You can document you cases on your website
- Your patient can contact you from your website
- To build credibility.
- Rank those website on google for more clicks.
- Do search engine marketing (Paid to click ads)
Have you heard about SEO? (Search Engine Optimization)
I am sure you must have heard about it.
Now what exactly it is?
Have you ever wanted to buy an iphone or an android?
Assuming you wanted to order iphone online...
What will you search?
- Buy iphone 13 pro online
- Buy iphone 13 pro amazon
- Buy iphone 13 pro online flipkart
You get the idea right?
Now suppose someone wants to search for dental clinic
If you look at the image above.
The initial first few links will get most clicks.
If the user doesn't find those links useful, he will go to next website and search for the detail.
Similarly, if you rank your website on the first page, your patients are going to search for you.
Now you see the power of SEO?
SEO takes time and is quite hard. So if you cannot wait.. you can pay google for listing your ad and rank on the 1st page of google.
4. Google MY BUSINESS
Do you know what it is?
Now coming back to same previous example..
If i google dental clinic right now.
You can see list of clinics appearing in search term. Google knows I'm looking for a dental treatment. And will automatically recommend me for clinics near my IP (location) address.
If i pay google for listing my clinic, you can see in the above image, Dr. Vora's dental clinic is listed on the top, that's an ad.
Similarly you can list your website on google.
5. REFERRALS
Referrals are the most popular way of getting famous. So who can refer you?
The answer is quite simple. Your patients, friends, and colleagues around you can refer you.
