Are you an apple fan or an android?
If you are an APPLE Fan...if i sell you ANDROID phone..would you buy?
The short answer is NOPE.
Most poeple are doing the EXACT same mistake in their marketing.
You are trying to sell someone an android WITHOUT actually knowing what they really want.
So How do you sell someone an apple..and not an android?
....Read below
For this we should know something about keywords...
So coming back to my example..apple iphone..If i search in google..what will i get?
I'll get everything...right from news to features to shop links.
There's no SPECIFICITY in this keyword. I might be looking to see...
- When is the new iphone variant launching?
- What is the pricing ?
- What are the features?
- Who are selling?
- Is it worth it?
- What colors is it available?
- What are the rumours around new iphone?
- Any youtube videos on the topic..
So you see there's a long list of things available which i can do with those keywords. Still very few people will buy from shops.
So to conclude...
- It's NOT AT ALL easy to rank on such competitive keywords
- It is not a BUYER friendly keywords.
What do i mean by "BUYER Friendly keywords"?
Coming back to same example...now if i want to buy an iphone online..What will i search?
I'll be searching for more specific keywords like...
- Buy iphone (latest version) online
- BUy iphone 13 pro online
- Iphone 13 pro amazon
- Buy iphone 13 pro flipkart
- Buy iphone 13 pro vijay sales
- Buy iphone 13 pro online cheap
I'll try to search for more longer version of the same keywords and i'll be MORE specific...RIGHT?
So let us see what do we get when we search for the long tail version of such keywords.
Profitable Keywords In Dentistry
Now if I'm searching for this keyword..I'm specifically looking to buy an iphone online..RIGHT?
So i'll look for those sites on the 1st page of google.
And as you can see in the image above. There are a few website links seen in the image.
Now If i want to buy it RIGHT NOW...i'll go through each of these websites and see where i'm getting a better deal.
The website which is OFFERING CHEAPER price...is the one that I'll prefer to buy my iphone...isn't it?
Now coming back to dentistry example..
How do i apply same concept to dentistry to target your patient?
Read on...Assuming I'm someone who has bad breath...and i google bad breath...
What will i see?
I'll get in general everything about bad breath...right from
- What causes bad breath?
- How can i get rid of bad breath?
- Foods causing bad breath?
- Can bad breath come from stomach?
Now there's no SPECIFICITY To this keyword...
If i want to be SPECIFIC...I'll be more curious about topics like
- How to get rid of bad breath fast?
- Which foods cause bad breath?
It will be more oriented towards Problems and its solution...right...?
So If I'm selling a GUIDE which tells my patients how to get rid of bad breath...they'll be more oriented to buy.
So whenever you are planning to rank your website for keywords...Choose a long term keyword..
- Longer the phrase is...easier it is to rank the keyword in google
- They are more buyer friendly
- Have more relevant searches.
- Helps in solving problem to a SPECIFIC Problem.
In dentistry there are so many sub niches that people are embarrased about..You can blog about those niches.
