How many patients are ENOUGH for you?
1, 2, 10, 100...How MANY do you want in a month?
BEFORE YOU answer the above question.. Answer this question...
...How much money do you want to make in a month?
- Rs. 10,000;
- Rs. 50,000;
- Rs. 1,00,000
- More than 1 lakh a month?
Assume you want to make 1 lakh a month... so you'd need how many patients?
Now the answer to this question will vary from person to person.
I can do 1 patient and charge him 1 lakh and do nothing the whole month
..Makes sense doesn't it?
You might want to do 5 patients in a month and still make 1 lakh...
There may be some of you who would do 20 patients and make the same amount of money..right?
So if you CANNOT get NEW patients..How do you STILL manage to earn the same amount of money?
The answer to this question is really simple...Followup with the same number of patients AGAIN AND AGAIN....
Once we are in dental college doing our graduation or post-graduation in India, we have our quota.
The quota is to complete "x" number of patients within the stipulated time period.
So to complete that quota..we take the phone number's from our patients.
We repeatedly call that patient and complete that patient, because we have to pass our exams by completing our patient quota.
Now coming back to present day scenario. We have all passed our exams, we either already have our own clinics, are either consultants or we plan to start our clinics shortly.
The patient has already come in....
Now the question is....
...For how many patients that visited your practice, you have made an effort to take his or her phone number?
If you have taken phone number...After the treatment got over;
...How many times have you made an effort to followup with your patients?
I am sure hardly 1 percent of you MIGHT have actually done that..
But why is it important to followup with your patients?
To answer this question...Let me give you a very good example of Domino's Pizza
I'm sure you know about Dominos...The moment you enter into Domino's they'll ask you about your phone number...
You know Why?
So that they can follow up with you. They REPEATEDLY send you messages like the one in the screenshot ABOVE.
Many times you see that message and you PLAN TO order your dominos pizza again.
Similarly when you followup with your patient after his successful treatment is over, you can just charge him for consultation.
Imagine, if in his mouth YOU find dental caries, periodontal problems, missing teeth, halitosis, stains, you can perform an additional procedure and make an extra income out of it.
This is not only followed by Dominos but big brands like Flipkart, Amazon, McDonald's and big franchise in the market use this to dominate their markets.
Apply this one hack in your practice and feel the difference in your profits.
