Website Design For Dentist: Part 2

Hi welcome back to this post. I am Dr. Harpreet Singh Manaktala and in the last post i had talked about the beginner's guide to dental website design.

If you haven't read that post, please go back here before you read this post.

So in this post I'll be talking about?

  • How to research the perfect name for your domain?
  • Which service to use to start your own website ESPECIALLY if you are on a budget?
  • What pages you need to update your own website?

So in this post let us see about websites for dentists.

So when starting websites for dental practice, what pages you should have?

So the first and foremost consideration is your HOMEPAGE.

You should write on your homepage...

  • Who are you?
  • What services do you offer?
  • What are your clinic timings
  • Any testimonials which you have got...

So next page when designing websites for dentists is the appointment page

You can make a page, where your patients can book an appointment from the website BEFORE they reach to your clinic.

Third aspect is your blog page. If you like to blog about some treatment procedure or any common problem they got..you can definitely blog about it.

So what are the advantages of blogging?

If you are writing on a specific topic, it will help you boost your website on google. You can rank for those specific keywords.

You can check out my list of profitable and buyer friendly keywords in dentistry.

Next consideration is your contact page.

You should always mention your contact email, phone numbers, if Patients want to reach you DIRECTLY.

You can also add a page to feature your own portfolio.

You can post the before and after images of patient's treated by you.

Now a lot of patient's might google for specific problem. If they think they have similar problem, and you have already posted about a similar case in your portfolio, that will add up.

This was all about which pages you NEED to put in your websites.

So now a lot of you who are looking for websites for dentists or their dental practice, will think...from where do i start ?

So how to register for your domain name?

There are a lot of domain name providers like...

  1. Godaddy
  2. Hostgator
  3. Bluehost
  4. Hostinger
  5. Mediatemple
  6. Dreamhost
  7. Mochahost
  8. Network Solutions

There are endless web hosting companies offering domain name registration and hosting service.

If you personally ask me..from where i have registered my domain name and webhosting for my blog?

I have used bluehost.

This doesn't mean other webhosting service providers are bad. They are all good. Hence i have recommended it to you.

The cost of service varies.
